My summer vacation

One of the most unforgettable vacations, I have had, was going to Khovd aimag. It was the summer of 2009 and my family and I wanted to go on vacation.We thought long and hard about where we wanted to go, and finally we decided to go to Khovd aimag.  Khovd is where my parents were born and where they raised. For me it was first time to see Khovd Khovd located in the west of the country. Khovd is approximately 1,580 km from UB. Most of Tourist wanted to go Khovd because they want to see beautiful views of Khovd.  Each of us prepared our stuffs and and getting tickets for our flight to Khovd aimag. We boarded a plane for Khovd aimag. It took 3 hours. During 3 hours I had lot of fun times and I sat in the window seat so I could watch the beautiful clouds. I also enjoyed the many sites you could see on the ground, entire fields looked like little puzzles from way up in the airplane. Once we arrived in Khovd my mom’s relatives were there to pick us up. The view of Khovd was beatiful . I can still picture it today. Lot of beautiful mountains and  rivers. The air was lot different than Ub which is fresh. The other thing that I surprised was watermelon they plant melons and there is large minority Kazakh-Mongol population that speaks both Kazkh and Mongolian. When we were in Khovd our relatives took us to “khar Us” lake. It’s 200km’s from Khovd city.  It’s the most beautiful  and biggest lake I’ve ever seen in my life. We spent 2 days near by the lake. Seing sunrise and sunset near by the lake, something touched to my heart.  I told myself “It’s beautiful to live in this earth and enjoy  natures”. Then 2 weeks later we headed back to UB.  From now on every year I’ll spent my summer vacation to see our Mongolian natures..
